What your customer sees
The customer tracker is a carefully filtered view of your job — customers see what's relevant to them, and nothing else.
What customers can see
- Completed and incompleted steps (that aren't hidden)
- The step messages and any attachments you've sent
- The job due date (if set)
- The job title
- Approval buttons (if approval is required on a step)
- Feedback input (if feedback is enabled on a step)
- Payment options (if a payment request is attached)
What customers cannot see
- Hidden steps — these are completely invisible, even once completed
- Internal team comments and activity
- Team member names or assignees
- Any internal notes or descriptions
The tracker is designed to give customers clarity and confidence — showing them progress without exposing your internal workflow.
