How the live tracker works
The live tracker is a page your customer can open any time — no login required. It shows your business logo, the job name, the estimated completion date, and a visual timeline of every step in the job.
The step timeline
Steps are displayed as a horizontal arrow chain across the top of the tracker. Each step shows its name and updates visually as the job progresses:
- Completed steps — filled with your brand colour (darker shade)
- Current step — filled with your brand colour (brighter, highlighted)
- Upcoming steps — grey, not yet started
The customer can scroll the timeline horizontally if there are more steps than fit the screen.
The step detail panel
Below the timeline, the currently selected step expands to show the message you sent — including your greeting, the message body, and your business footer with contact details. The customer can click any completed step in the timeline to view its message.
Real-time updates
The tracker updates the moment you mark a step complete — no refresh needed. If the customer has it open when you send an update, it changes right in front of them.
Hidden steps are completely invisible on the customer tracker — they don't appear in the timeline at all, keeping your internal workflow private.
