What triggers a notification
FoxTrak sends notifications for a wide range of job and business events. Here's a breakdown of what triggers what.
Job events (all team members)
- Job created
- Step completed
- Comment posted
- Step edited
- Attachment uploaded
- Job description changed
- Due date changed
- Job assigned to you
- Step assigned to you
- Customer approval received
- Customer feedback received
- Payment received
Admin-only events
- Team member added or removed
- Billing changes
- Job overdue
- Integration failures (Xero, Stripe)
- Security events
Always-on notifications
@mentions always trigger a notification regardless of your other notification settings - you can't miss being directly mentioned.
You can turn any of these on or off individually in Settings → Notifications.
