Creating a quote

Attach a quote to a step to send it to your customer for review and approval — directly through their live tracker.

How to attach a quote

  1. Open a step's message editor
  2. Click Attach Invoice/Quote
  3. Adding a Quote in FoxTrak
  4. Choose your option:
    • Select from Xero — choose from your existing unsent Xero quotes
    • Create in Xero — opens Xero to build a quote there, best for complex quotes
    • Quick Quote (Basic) — create a simple quote directly in FoxTrak with line items and a due date. Syncs to Xero automatically and updates to Approved in Xero when your customer approves
  5. Quote options in FoxTrak

  6. Click Update to save the step message

Not connected to Xero?

You can attach a manual PDF quote instead. See Attaching a manual PDF quote or invoice.

Approval required

Attaching a quote automatically enables Approval required on the step. When you send the update, the customer sees the quote on their tracker with Approve and Decline buttons. You're notified immediately when they respond.
