Setting priority and due date

2 min read

Priority and due dates help you stay on top of what needs attention - and keep customers informed about when to expect their job to be completed.

Setting a due date

  1. Click the Due Date section in the job card
  2. Pick a date from the calendar
  3. If the due date is changed during the job, you can opptionally send the customer a due date update message

The due date is visible to the customer on their live tracker. It displays as "Today", "Tomorrow", or a formatted date.

Overdue jobs

If a job passes its due date without being completed, a red OVERDUE badge appears in the job header - visible to your team. The customer's tracker also shows a past due indicator.

Setting priority

Priority can be set from the job detail header. It helps your team sort and focus on what's most urgent. - customers don't see the priority level.

Setting a due date when you create the job gives customers a clear expectation upfront - reducing the chance they'll chase you for an update.
