Default greeting and footer
Every customer message in FoxTrak starts with a greeting and ends with a footer. You can customise both to match your business's voice and branding.
Setting your default greeting
Go to Settings → Business Settings and edit the Greeting field. The default is "Hello". This text is prepended to every customer message where the greeting toggle is enabled on the step.
The greeting automatically includes the customer's name — so "Hello" becomes "Hello Jane,".
Setting your footer
The footer appears at the bottom of every customer email. It's auto-generated from your business name, contact name, phone number, and website - and updates automatically when those fields change.
If you manually edit the footer text, it locks and no longer auto-updates from your business details.
Applying greeting and footer
Both are applied at send time across all channels — email, SMS, and push. On individual steps, you can toggle the greeting on or off if you want a different tone for a specific message.
Keep your footer concise — business name, phone number, and website is usually enough. Long footers can clutter SMS messages.
